Random quests ?
Nope.. I've been playing over a year and I always have at least 3 non-quest related activities on the books. For us completionists, it's torture!

I dont do random tasks, as soon as one comes up i leave that character to last while i set everyone else on 24hr tasks then hit bart/milhouse button then back to my own town and voila speech bubble gone
