Recovering missing buildings and characters after Monorail Track Glitch

Helpful post, thanks!

To the OP and anyone else who has gotten glitched:

1. What kind of device were you playing on?
2. How close were the vanished buildings to the monorail track?

So far, 3 out of 3 glitchers I've heard from were on iOS.

I mostly play on an iPad Air. In an attempt to avoid it happening to me, I've started putting new pieces of track in the corner, far away from buildings, though I still have a track in the center of my town.

I've already done all of that except remove monorail tracks and I decided to build duplicate buildings so have a lot of those but I can't get my fall out boy, Lisa and Cookie are stuck in unstorable buildings, all I have to do is figure out what building came with miss bouvier. I had to move all affected buildings to the opposite side of town so I can collect SH and Monorail stuffs. I'll try the removal of tracks right now it's broken down anyways till 1:00 am, and I already contacted EA.

You're looking for the Super Smorg. Gray building with teal roof and a neon sign that sticks up at the front with a pig holding a pig on a platter.

Thanks that was easier the looking myself :lol:
Now all EA has to do is fix Lisa and Cookie and cross my fingers get back Fallout Boy.

So I spent 3 hrs with EA on the phone this morning because I needed Lisa to move forward. So after a few tries and disconnected twice, I started to place all four characters then I noticed L56 and up all disappeared. So EA had to do a few roll backs until everything was fine and 1,500 donuts to rush back to where I was.

What am I supposed to do about Lisa? I can't store The Simpsons house so it looks like she's gone forever. :(

Read previous post and contact EA immediately, it's the only way to get Lisa.

Brilliant! Thank you. This fixed everything. Particularly my Springfield dump problem.....the dump was for sale....tucking away then placing again worked! I don't have to chase trash packers around town! It appears I am collecting as normal, my train came back to terminal station and I have my characters and houses and I think homer can finally finish the go to sleep task.

Whoo whoooo I am way too excited by this.....!


I put a few tracks back and all is well...but I stopped...just in case I was close to the problem piece.

Thanks for this post, and I'm glad I had read it before because that glitch hit me today. Everything seems to be okay again, let's hope it stays this way (and they fix it soon so I can dare to put the track back from storage)...

Playing on iPad Air, btw.

On the Addicts site they are saying that people report EA as saying that some have problems because of putting tracks in or over water. Take a look at their site for more info under

"Tip For Disappearing Characters/Buildings During the Monorail Event".
