Regaining lost debris
only way is to contact ea and ask to roll back the town to the last day you know they were there.

I know i can just clear a certain amount and replace any that are cleared that i do want, but please my town is huge and when its opposite sides of the town i reallllly can't be bothered with going from one side to the other!!!

You can place individual items close to Homer or Lisa and then send them to clear debris - they will clear the nearest item first.
