Next year's THOH event is definitely going to be better

I think I figured it out, bear with me, or skip to the end and I'll try to summarize it.
Three events (general) exist right? Mini events, tie in events, and Update Events.
Wrong.
(Yes I know we have Gil deals, and other little things, just work with me)
Seasonal events occur on the dot each year, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays, etc.
These holidays also tend to have Simpsons Episodes revolving around em.
Here's the connection:
Treehouse of Horror 2015
As you may remember, this had a Cthulhu like beast known as M'nthster (I think). The general event had the kids telling stories, etc.
However once you dissect it you realize most of the plot came from the episode:
Halloween of Horror
From the adults "naughty" actions to the adults Costumes, as well as M'nthster himself, all were taken from the above episode. The rest of the content was either TSTO exclusive or taken from old Simpsons episodes (mainly THoH).
Next is Winter 2016.
Yes, I know, I know.
The Most Dangerous Game mini-event had a small tie in which made us believe that Xmas was coming next: Gnome in your Home....here's the kicker:
That item appears in an episode aired on December 11, 2016, according to the event files (thanks LP) Winter 2016 started on December 6, 2016.
It was wildly hated by many, however once again, an overwhelming amount of content came from the episode: The Nightmare After Krustmas
The same episode that has the Gnome in your Home.
This current event was based on Harry Potter as well as the Simpsons parody: Angelica Button. However it also features content from the Episode: The Serfsons. From The Peasant SVT, to Wizard Frink (spoilers), and Treestache, all those items came from the Titular episode.
Theory?
They took that info, and built an event around it with items, characters and buildings that have to do with it. If you have checked the spoilers or checked the in game character sets, you'll notice what will come next (including a dragon, not the one in the episode, but a dragon nonetheless).
LPN is right, EA must make the events in advance (possibly months in advance), however they must also have access to what Simpsons writers are creating. Something that doesn't surprise me, if you were a Futurama fan, you knew the rumors of the crossover episode, and probably saw a script with the Futurama main casts signatures all over it months in advance.
What I'm getting at is simple.
Yes EA is screwing up every now and then, but when outside of the Holiday based episode events, they tend to be spot on.
So unless Simpsons starts raising up their game and start writing and creating better content for the current and possible future, we will be stuck with these kinds of events.
SUMMARY:
Holiday events are based on that years Holiday Simpsons Episode, or that years Simpsons episodes. EA most likely has access to certain new episodes in advance and they build holiday events around em. That's why this THOH was Potter related, That's why a couple years ago it was Cthulhu/ Adults acting "naughty", and that's why last years winter event was Pagan related.
