I'm not saying it is a bad idea or a good one. Usually, I'm happy with most new content they dish out...regardless of what it is.

I'm just saying they'd rather appeal to the majority of people, rather than a minority. A rocket/launch pad update appeals to the minority, whether you want to admit it or not. Make a poll of what people would rather have in the game: One of their favorite characters and their building or a rocket/launch pad and I bet most people would take the character/building.

There's plenty of "which character would you like threads". This is an original idea that appeals to the MAJORITY if your a simpsons fan. Almost everyone one has seen that episode. Where do you think the "welcome ants" sign comes from? It's in your items now for purchase. Have a look


Don't have to make another poll. If you read the options, they have a choice and the results speak for themselves mate. 44% of current votes want it. 8% prefer something else for example a character or building.

All you have to do is make a building sized launch pad with a stationary rocket. When you send homer to do a job, the rocket rises vertically until it disappears at the top of the screen.
The first time you do the job there should be a cut scene of him in space, whether in the rocket or outside of it in a spacesuit floating, its up to you to write that part. Then no cut scene after that when u repeat the job.

Yep that's it, and rocket doesn't return till task is complete or something like that iam sure ea with the team of writers could sort something out.

1- yeah you could say that but if you break it down and read the posts, I think most are in favor, besides it would look awesome and it's something new to add to your town.

2- second part of your post, is it really necccesary?

Oh and i think it would be cool if the rocket flew across the screen occasionally. Not repeatedly like the chopper or homers santa sleigh but maybe every few minutes or once an hour or so.
