Save me from myself

I am under going a major redesign of my Springfield. I am into my 2nd month and am al.osteoporosis finished. I was suffering from having my large monorail being half a square off from my tunnels. I started my redesign by buying a bunch of land. Then I moved my least favorite items (SH buildings) to the very back of my town. I then took small sections and would work a little bit on each every day. I could have done this faster, but I'm in this for the long haul and just dragged it out to keep me amused. I've got all my buildings placed and am now left with my decorations to place. My monorail ride is now over 5 minutes and I still have over 400 track pieces in storage to tinker with it.
If I nuked, I doubt I would have had the energy to do it all over.
