Seasonal buildings and decorations
Each seasonal event has it's own area for it's buildings and decos, i don't store anything.

I have a little Christmas village, which I never bothered putting away after the Christmas event.
On the other hand, I have most of my Halloween, Easter, and other holiday stuff mixed throughout town wherever I thought it looked good. And I stored a fair bit of it, too. I always keep the buildings and other income or bonus generating items out, though.
