That's twice now I've purchased a premium character without a voice-over. That's not premium, that's a sub basic with a hefty price tag.
In April 5th Peter Moore blogged EA can do better. ( http://www.ea.com/news/we-can-do-better?websso=1) He promised to listen to customer voices.
Here's my voice Peter, one almost certainly echoed by the entire Tapped Out gaming community.
I have no problem paying for donuts. I've spent more time this year playing Tapped Out than I have any other game by a country mile and therefore paying the developers for their hard work (debatable at the moment, my Android game is buggy as hell. Characters now walk sideways through buildings, over the sea to get to the Squidport and fountains turn into scrambled up buildings) seems only fair.
I buy donuts at £13.99 for 300. My maths is rubbish but according to http://simpsonstappedout.wikia.com/wiki/Donuts that works out to 4 pence each. Sherri and Terri work out at £6. £6 for a sub-par standard character. On what planet is that trying to win back customers hearts? What you're doing is abusing the love of The Simpson's and gamer enthusiasts.
Gamer's such as myself will probably continue to fork out for donuts and premium content I have no doubt. But pissed off gamers such as myself will almost certainly (and this thread is testimony to this fact) research their purchases before making them. This will ultimately lead to a drop in content purchases when we discover they're just not worth it.
You want to hear my voice? Premium characters should come with voices. Premium characters without buildings should not cost more than 100 donuts (why is Sherri and Terri double the price of Dr Nick?)
All the best. A very frustrated EA customer.
