That looks awesome! I would have voted for that one in the contest :) I woud try some various shrub/flower/hedge designs in those big open spaces to the left and right. And maybe a few more trees ...

Ya the left corner switch with hedge cube and the hedge row along the right bring in 1 square the hedge is high enough it will block the grass and at the corner it will have the desired raised look I think
And to counter the grass square this is what I did with my one 3D effect
