Smithers 60 minute task

I always have to remind myself to not give Burnsie a task when I scroll through my characters...

I'm going to do this right now, and also do the same with Marge and Dr Hibbart since I use both with Mrs Hibbart's 4 and 8 hour tasks and always seem to forget (since Mrs Hibb is way down my list)

This IS a good tip. I'm always trying to keep Artie ahead of Marge and Mrs. H in front of her husband. Thx!

And thanks for the clarification on whose task it is above. I rarely use 1 hr tasks so I never do the exercise one ( though it's so cute!) but I use the MONEY FIGHT a lot and that one requires Burns to be first, and skinned as Ebeneezer.

I like the joint tasks. I wish we could influencel their interaction more!

Yeah, but that's even more annoying than trying to remember to skip him in the first place. I have used that trick an absurd times when I've forgotten to put Comic Book Guy on a Felon (so I can keep premium characters and skins on money-making tasks). But it just isn't worth it for a 60m Burns/Smithers task, despite the awesome animation.

Since the Cooling Towers don't pay out, you aren't resetting any timer.

Thanks, Tappers. I can't believe I played this game for 6 months and never knew there was another Smithers/Burns option. I, for the first time last night, saw Smithers pedaling Mr Burns around on a tandem bike.

"Annoying" and resetting the timer are two different things.

Realizing I forgot to skip Burns, stopping my rapid cycle through all characters, storing the cooling towers, replacing the cooling towers, and then getting Smithers on the task is a lot more involved than just getting Smithers out of the way 24 hours at a time.

Once you store the cooling towers and replace them Mr. Burns should be at end of your character rotation. You should only have to do it once.

Nope, I did it a few times when I first discovered the Smithers task. Never happened.

moarku, do you have an open quest for Burns? That's the only reason I can think of for why your Mr. Burns would still be ahead of Smithers. Or it's possible you stored the wrong Power Plant building so your Mr. Burns never stored in the first place. Once you store a character, when you take them out again they'll be last on your list, unless they have an open quest, since the game will prompt you to do their quest first.

I haven't tried it in a while, but I definitely stored the right one because I did it after accidentally starting Burns on his constitutional and that got him out of it. I'll try it again, maybe this time...
