In Covid-19 news, here are some examples of offences that took place and the penalties

This man blatantly took pictures of a meal gathering and posted on Facebook with the following caption
“After a long long long long super long day... we are having a illegal gathering... so what? Enjoy the food to the max.”
He has been fined 4500 SGD as social gatherings were banned.

This FedEx American pilot was sentenced to four weeks jail for failing to stay quarantined and went to town for shopping.

This man, after coming back from Myanmar was supposed to serve a stay home notice. But he went out to multiple places, including meeting up with girlfriend and also posted a picture of a food he ate in social media, Bak Ku Teh ( Herbal Pork Ribs soup). He was sentenced to six weeks jail.

This flight attendant was supposed to serve a stay home notice after returning from Australia. But she went out anyway for shopping. She was fined 4000 SGD

Today 19 June 2020, we enter phase 2 of the lifting of the Covid-19 circuit breaker. The most impactful items for me is the ability to eat out and to go to gym. Social distancing rules remain though and masks wearing is mandatory except during eating and doing strenuous exercises like running

One of the eggs in the nest of my plant has hatched and the fledgling is no longer pinkish and has opened its eyes. Before it could open its eyes, she thought I was the parent and kept asking for food. Now that her eyes are opened, when she noted that I was not the parent , she quickly went back to its proning position.
