- Warning: I sent Flanders off with the boys on the snowmobile and they left town. I finally got Flanders back, but no luck with the boys yet. Anytime I try to use the character locator for the boys, the game crashes.
I would like to see what others experience with this task. - Depends how badly you need the gift cards. I use the task since I enjoy the animation of it. I'm already 4 days ahead of the pace needed to complete the event, and with all events the temporary tasks are usually meaningless in terms of the reward offered. If you are struggling to maintain 1035 gift cards a day, I would use the task twice a day. If you are well ahead of that pace, then you don't have to use the task if you don't want to, along with Homer's, Lisa's, Bart's, etc.
Besides whacking day temporary tasks, I absolutely love the animations of the temporary Christmas tasks, so I use them as often as possible. As said, I have no need for the gift cards, but I like them using those winter tasks. thito01 wrote:

I have had 0 issues with this task. No crashes, nothing. When I clear it, all 3 characters are available in the character locator, and then I usually just tap Flanders to reactivate it.GamerGD3 wrote:

Same here
@OP: You get 35. Flanders and boys Included.- Did you try putting Sir Putts-a-Lot in storage? When you bring it back out of storage, the boys should reappear with it. At least, that's how it always works for me anytime a character comes with a building ...
Let us know if it works :) annettemarc wrote:

Unfortunately, there's a difference between characters who are unlocked with a building, and characters that are unlocked at the same time as a building. Unless a character picture is superimposed over the building in the build menu, they are not unlocked with the building and are not associated with it.
I know, it makes no sense, but it's true. Rod and Todd are not associated with Sir-Putts-a-Lot, so storing it doesn't also store them. I've put Sir-Putts-a-Lot in storage a few times, and it doesn't warn that the boys will also be put in storage, and they remain out and about once I store it.
The same thing holds true with Fat Tony and the Businessman's Club.- For all those that said otherwise: You earn 35 gift card per each character in the task (35 x 3) so 105 in total. My task just ended, and I was surprised to see so many cards popping out, especially after people said it was on 35.
- I also got 105 cards and no problem with missing characters.
