What I've been doing is keeping multiples of everything in my inventory, since it is sorted mostly in alphabetical order. It is still a pain in the butt to scroll through, but I generally know where to find things.

I read somewhere that in the game files, the items do have additional tags, e.g., shrub (or nature? something like that).

I am hopeful this means that they will eventually divide the build menu and inventory into subfolders.

I don't care, mainly because I'm lazy and can't be bothered decorating- if I did lots of decorating I'm sure I'd see it as annoying too.

The scrolling is a pain. More things keep getting added. Ugh

I do think they need to categorise the decorations in their entirety, trees and bushes could be in one section, premium items in another, squidport items in another etc, etc. There will be those who say its lazy for us to want it, but its not, it is horrible the amount of scrolling players have to do.

For example:

* consumerism - items that boost this rating
* gluttony - items that boost this rating
* vanity - items that boost this rating
* tree hugging - items that boost this rating
* righteousness - items that boost this rating

And all the other stuff from the star ratings

It might not be possible but it would help more :-)

That's a good idea. Again, though, there'd be lots of items in vanity, and none in consumerism :lol:

I'm going to have to agree here. It gets old having to scroll through all the decorations! Categories, tabs, a search bar, anything really would be better and more efficient than what it is now.
