- I bought it last year and paid 200 dounuts. Im not steamed as its a 3 year old decoration. Another point i usally buy games for my pc even pre order them i pay full price ($50-$100)and sometimes 3-6 months later the game sells for $30. It just the way this world is. But i have got so much free doughts over the last 2 years it makes up for it in the end.
In case your wondering i have been given 2k free doughnuts, sherri Bobbins, one free origin PC game, even have a EA customer service rep as a friend. This all came from all the issues i have had from being locked out for a full 30 days, losing my town a few times, and at one point had a CS rep destroy my town. But its all good so no im not pissed.
It is what it is...... - I bought Santa's village last year and I wasn't upset that it was less last year. I didn't remember how much I paid for it, so if I wasn't on the forums I would have any idea. I would be upset if it was now free instead, but a different donut price doesn't impact me.

When I bought Otto & his School Bus for 120 donuts just before the Back to School sale had him, the Bus, and a Tetherball/playground stuff for only 70 donuts. I felt like I was conned out of my 50 donuts!
But, now I feel pretty bad to see the Homer Santa skin & Village combo for only 80 donuts when it was 200 donuts last year! Someone who dropped the extra 120 donuts last year must be pretty steamed!

Not sure I'll ever buy anything premium again, unless it's during a Gil Sale. I mean, even limited items are fluctuating in price. What's next? The Brandine I bought on V-day for 100 donuts, now available on V-day 2015 for 50 donuts?
I thought limited time items might be price-fixed, but you're better off hoping Gil shows up with a deal for something you actually want.
What's the worst price drop on premium you've experienced? Any regrets? Or, is whatever money you put into this game always well worth it? Remember, a tray of 132 donuts in this game is $10 which won't get you a building/character combo that on average costs about 150 donuts.
:?: :?: :?:
I bought it this year and for me it's NOT a premium skin for Homer. So it seems there's a difference with the cheaper price.Snakeyees wrote:
what why?
had a CS rep destroy my town.- Sales are meant to lower the price of older items. Who got it last year had to pay full price because it was brand new, while who waited for one year paid less for an old premium item a lot of people already have and know.
- Why would I be angry? Value changes over time, that's just life. Would I have loved to have an extra 120 donuts? Of course, maybe EA will reimburse me
In fact I'm delighted that that EA have reduced the price as it gives hope that other limited time content will be reduced. - Sometimes things happen! You didn't know it would happen and nor did we so I'm sure a lot of people bought it...
- Happens at the store too. It's nothing new.
- AnnathewickedNew SpectatorThings to on sale after you buy them all the time, that's life

He was trying to fix crashing issues, and basicly he nuked my town, and because of that they restored it from a back up and credited me 1k doughnuts.
