So kumiko is a permanent character...?
She is permanent, though as an episode tie in she will not be around for anyone that missed her (unless they re-release in the future).... :twisted:

Kumiko was the writers of the show's way to work in the scripts made for Ned and Edna , those unseen episodes revolved around Marge and Homer helping a newer couple with marital stuff. I thought tonight's episode was worthy of an Emmy , and the Miyazaki tribute was special and endearing to me. I think it's awesome the Simpsons finally went otaku .
