- What with having to make room for three castles, their walls and towers, and all the castle bling, plus build a mini house farm, the CoC event has fairly well transmogrified my little Springfield. I'm just going to wait until it's over before I sort this mess out. Until then, revel in my ugliness!
- We have all seen, the good, the bad, & the ugly in COC. I swear some people need to read a decorating magazine. My town isn't the prettiest or most creative but it has streets and roads and looks like a town should look sort of
- ZennGlennRising Newcomer:roll: ...pretty much seen it all now & giving a pass to the noobs / lower level players, I find it somewhat lame of one doesn't take any initiative to exhibit some decent creative townscaping...
for me it's a solid part of the game & certainly prefer seeing better quality towns 8) - I try to make it nice here and there, but I haven't gotten around to buying enough land to really build my town the way I want. Until then, it's kinda "wherever things fit."
- The huge house farms in many people's Spirngfield may due to this event.
For example, I built 21 brown houses just for visiters to raid.
And I will put those brown houses back to my recycle box once the event is over. - I'm enjoying the random invade option; I've seen some really nice SF's this way. Kind of sad you can't know their names. Some I would love to friend if I knew their ID's.

Yeah, it would be nice if we can leave a message for those whom we invaded. :D- What amazes me is how many towns look similar to each other. I think I've dropped into dozens of feeder towns started for this event. They all have ten or twelve plots of land, the first few buildings of the tutorial, the road from the tutorial, a castle or two, and about twenty brown houses crammed in. A few have a little more space or a few more buildings, but the arrangement is just mind-bogglingly similar.

But visiting Invaders, I'm seeing Springfields worse than I'd ever seen in Springfields I'd added as friends. Huge house farms, cluttered Springfields with few streets. Large Springfields with buildings randomly scattered over large expanses of grass, large blocks of a single decoration, Springfields with the purchased blocks of land zigzagging out in mysterious patterns, Springfields without a single long strait road anywhere, etc. .
I have quite a lot friends, some I've had over two years, some are from this forum past and present who have perfected the art of beautiful Springfields. And of course you get used to to seeing these nice Springfields as you visit your friends. So I agree when visiting some Springfields who are invaders it's become an eye opener. I have come across a lot of house farms. Apart from some Springfield's that were really very nice some are very cluttered and quite ugly to see. At least these visits to these Springfields is only temporary.- 4junk3000New Spectator

Every new quest I delete the people who've quit playing, the free-riders, and the ugliest of my friend's Springfields, so now I've got a bunch of friends with Springfields that are nice to visit.

I am going to be so glad when the current quest is over and I can quit visiting so many ugly Springfields.
I've assumed most were feeder towns. Mine is a little, cramped mess too. I only use it to supplement my main during events with mechanics that call for it. But at the moment mine has only one other neighbor besides myself, because I'm only checking in every few weeks. I wasn't expecting unannounced raiders to stop by! Lol
