So! Many! Ugly! Springfields!

I disagree. I've really enjoyed looking at hundreds of different springfields.
  • Lol my feeder Springfield definitely falls into the "ugly" category. I definitely need to spend some time on making it pretty again. But it just takes so long! Especially when I just redid my other Springfield. Ugh
  • I can't believe so many of you have house farms.... It's ugly and it shouldn't be allowed.
  • I've seen some ugly Springfield's, but their not mine so i don't really care. I have come across a lot of low lvl SFs and house farms though

As much as I would love to leave messages for people, this would be a bad idea... Too many trolls... For every nice comment there would be 2 dumb/mean comments...

I would like something of this nature too, I was thinking along the lines of a guest book at town hall. Except you can't leave comments, but if you click 'sign guest book' the game will register your username and then when the owner of the town logs back on he can check who has visited his town. If you like the town you sign the guest book and if you don't, you don't sign it. It means people can see who likes their town without having to look at mean comments?

@op: I guess everyone has different opinions on what makes a nice Springfield?
  • It's disheartening to see all those "Big Butt" house farms on sooooo many high level players.

It really cheapens the whole look of their Springfields
  • I'm rather proud of my Springfield, but it's certainly not the level of some I've seen which I'd think were done by professional architects or planners. I didn't do the house farm thing, even from the beginning when the extra money would have been useful. Each area of houses is set up like a neighborhood, with fences or hedges. For Clash of the Clones I added what I call a trailer park - brown houses relatively close together but with decorations like trees, flowers, lamp posts and a playground. Like many trailer parks it's on the edge of town, but I think it'd be a nice place to live.

I finally caved and put a small (30-40 browns) house farm in the area I've reserved for holiday bits and pieces. However, if I understand the Krusty Land glitch I can get rid of my house farm without fear of raiders loosing coins/elixer when I go to Krusty Land. Yay! The house farm served its purpose, but I'll be glad to see it go.

As to other's Springfields, I've seen quite a few really nice ones and I second someone's idea of a guest book at City Hall. Others are pure house farms and are rather dizzifying with the auto-scroll the game's doing with CoC. Eh, to each their own.
  • OP, from now on make sure you file a grievance with the Springfield Aesthetics Commission. They will launch a formal inquiry and notify any neighbors whose towns do not conform to your personal standards.
  • The only thing I didn't like about visiting random people is there is no way to report someone for doing something they shouldn't. For example Someone spelled out F%$& Y%& right next to where the view lands when you visit them. Another had 10s of 1,000s of donuts worth of treasure chests and elixir mixers. I'm not sure but I'd be suspect that they hacked to get those. I don't see someone dropping several hundred dollars or more on a single event let alone all on those. Not to mention they had probably 20 times more in donut expenses than that of other premium stuff through out their springfield. Could easily be in the 1,000s of dollars worth of stuff.
