Some of the many weird things I do in this game

I know that I'm weird. My doctor says I have a preoccupation with vengeance... We'll see about that.

But, here are some of the weird (to me) things I do in the game:

• I still enjoy finding everyone and sending them on tasks manually and individually.
• I alternate people who work at the power plant so that it always runs year round, but not over working one person.
• I try to animate as many buildings as I can while still having many visual tasks going on.
• I like NPCs as much as normal characters.
• I like to mix it up with characters, alternating work and leisure. Fat Tony may be burying a body for half of the day, but he'll be loving the hot tub when the work is done.
• If I really like a building or decoration, I try to find reference photos so I can try to be somewhat accurate to the source material.
• I haven't missed a single day on checking out this forum multiple times in over 3 years.

What are some things you do that others may not?
  • I have a guilty pleasure (like once in a day) where I personally search and tap characters in order to give them tasks. I scroll throughout the whole town, and if the task is visual, I wait until they are not hidden behind a building or smth.

And benches... I love putting sprinfielders on them
  • During Winter, I have anyone who doesn't have some kind of appropriate dress for a skin or visual task (eg Festivus CBG, Mr. Plow, Carl's "Icelandic Heritage" task) go indoors. Also Duffman, just because I feel it's in character for him to be the crazy guy who would wear a sleeveless shirt in winter (and cause his only indoor task is 30 mins long). During the rest of the year, visual tasks. This includes putting away most NPCs.

Kang and Kodos are pretty much always laughing. Similarly, I pretty much always have Eddie and Lou, and Lenny and Carl, on the same timed task.

I try to put the Channel 6 and KBBL tasks on the same timing.

I try as much as humanly possible to have the Muntz House animation active.

I cycle through Barneys tasks in this order: "Go on a Binge", then "Sleep in the Gutter", then "Sober Up".

I have all my "factory" buildings, including the SNPP, faced so that the smoke blows the same direction when the animation is active.

When a task arises in a quest wherein a large number of characters can go on that task, I send all that I can.

There are some things I pretty much always have to tap on when I see them: the Dancing Reindeer, Casino Nessie, Homers Ballet, the Inanimate Carbon Rod, Sir Loves A Lot...
