My daily task for today was to collect 40 of them. This could take a while.
Mine too, I am at 18/40, its for a donut.......- tRump would tell you Obama did it, but I think tRump's bad Karma is doing it. There's a bug in the game. Unless you speed up everything with hundreds of thousands of donuts at a cost of what a weekend of golf would cost at $3 million plus, you'll just need to wait until EA figures out what went wrong, and who got out of bed on the wrong side.

I think its intentional. Level 1 required 180 schematics to level up to level 2. Level 2 only requires the 175 to level up to level 3. Im not a betting man but if I was id say you need to be at level 4 by the end of act 1, level 8 by the end of act 2 and level 12 before the event ends.
I noticed that the crafting amount per item seems to jump at level 4 and probably level 8 too as you say. What people have been saying about how it's intended, I can see that now when I look at the numbers.
It's annoying, though, to have to piece this together ourselves. If they really didn't intend us to get far into crafting between act changes then why not literally lock them down until the next act arrives? Leaving it open has some people that somehow have all the craftables while the rest of us have no way of even coming close to progressing that far."chrisdirai146" wrote:
Btw- you can craft one of each no problem while leveling at the same time but if you want to get 1 of each item and complete the levels I suggest buying 1 of each item available in the level and leveling up when you have less schematics than the cheapest prize but enough of them to auto level. This way any remaining schematics can be used for the next craftable that unlocks at the new level. Hope that makes sense. Its worked for me in the past event and its working out so far...
Sorry, it didn't make sense to me. What's auto level?
No worries. Here's my example: level 1 required 180 schematics. There were 3 craftables for level 1. The sunflower thingy 50 schematics, the bus stop for 40 I think and the mailbox for 30. I crafted (2) sunflowers total 100 schematics, 1 bus stop 40 schematics and 1 mailbox 30 schematics. Total 170. Instead of waiting to have enough schematics to craft a other mailbox ( the cheapest craftable @ level 1), I 'auto leveled' the last10 schematics to get me to level 2 and had leftover schematics to put towards Crafting the first cheapest level 2 craftable ( the bench). Waste not want not. Rinse and repeat for all levels!
Hope that clarifies my strategy."Olso4;1593863" wrote:

I dismissed my daily challenge this morning for 1000 Intel and it was replaced with one for 30 schematics so that's now going to be my plan every time I get Intel.
Don't count on it. Just dismissed it and my new task reward is 1 donut.
Oh, I know. I was hoping for a donut task when I did it. I always dismiss cash/heights tasks anyway, and I've never failed to get all of the Act prizes, so happily dismiss event currency tasks in the hope of getting donuts. I'll not dismiss any schematics tasks because they're hard to come by but abutting other than donuts or multiplier is gone.- frosted1414Seasoned Newcomer

I disagree with your waste not statement. You manually leveled up to level 2 with 10 schematics and got nothing for those 10 schematics. In Destination Springfield I was able craft 2 of everything and 3 or 4 or 5 of somethings without manually leveling or spending a donut. "frosted1414;1594924" wrote:

i agree with your disagreement of his statement. unless you never plan on crafting another one of the items from that level, you ARE wasting precious schematics on manually upgrading to the next level."rosesgirlnz;1594930" wrote:

Me too. So far I have 12. It's more like a weekly task than a daily task
i didn't think that was worth it for one donut, so i canceled out of it and got the task to tap 30 men-in-tan for a prize of 30 schematics. need that one every day if earning schematics remains as tight as it is..."tapebelt;1594935" wrote:

I respectfully disagree with your disagreement. My strategy is logic based. If in fact schematics are as precious and constrained as some think (I do not), then my strategy ensures minimally 1 of each craftable and completion of all levels. In theory, it is possible if the crafting currency is limited than buying multiple items could leave you short of the required minimum amount of currency to craft 1 of every item. Again, in theory assuming the currency will be severely constrained. (Again, probably not the case).
I too had a ridiculous amount of craftables at the end of the last event. I used the same strategy just in case but it all worked out in the end just like this will I'm sure. At the end of the day, its likely not going to matter as we'll all be swimming in extra currency regardless of the approach. So long as you keep to the 4 hour schedule of course...
