I totally agree with you that it is annoying to visit a town where there is nothing to tap. But in my experience that is more often the case with lower level players who naturally own fewer buildings. Usually I do not have any problems finding something to tap in my maxed out neighbour's SFs.

Speaking for myself, I've been playing since the relaunch in sept 2012 so I've added and deleted neighbors many, many times over. I am not a house farmer nor have ever been one, but I do add 12 or so brown houses especially for events like these PLUS I leave ALL my buildings ready to be tapped by my neighbors and I clear out handshakes regularly.

When I want to add new neighbors I look for players who say "regular player", "always something to tap"' etc. Still some of these proclaimed "good neighbors" turn out to be duds. So while I do delete and move on, it makes it no less frustrating to do so.

Sometimes you just want to express that frustration on a forum. We all have an inner Josh ( miss you Josh :cry: ) needing to be let out once in awhile. :wink: rant over.

Simple,

•Delete the inactive ones
•Post on the finding friends thread and tell them if they want to add you, they must always have stuff to tap and visit friends most days!

OP has got hardcore first world problems.

I used to find it really annoying when I had to go to the computer to delete people, but now that I can do it from my phone it's just become a weekly thing. It is frustrating when I have to search all over someone's town and can't find anything to tap on. And I'm always in shock of the people who have clearly spent hundreds of dollars and countless hours to develop a nice town and they just stop playing. After all the hours I've logged into this game I don't think I could stop playing if I wanted to. That's a lot of hard work to go down the drain.

Having 30 brown houses and 100 neighbors gives 90 of your neighbors no access to those brown houses. Yes, the browns regenerate in five minutes, but the five minutes does not begin until you clear the handshake. For your 100 neighbors to all use those brown houses, you need to clear the handshakes ten times per day.

I don't say that to be argumentative. Just informational.

For 100 visitors to be successful you need, at one time or another, during Normal Human Awake Hours, to have 300 buildings to tap. Obviously, that doesn't mean 300 individual buildings ... 3 blue houses, if cleared of handshakes religiously every 8hours, will give 3 of your 100 neighbors enough to tap. Just keep in mind that a brown does not regenerate "every" five minutes. It regenerates five minutes after you clear the handshake. If you clear handshakes in your town every three hours, then your browin house takes THREE HOURS (and five minutes) to regenerate.

I play all day long, but if I do visiting at 8pm here in California, most of the East Coast has done their visiting, Europe has been in bed for hours and has nothing tappable, and Lord knows what's going on over there in Australia. If you can't find buildings to tap, it is likely that you're in incompatible timezones. NOT that your neighbor is thoughtless or not playing. If they have 100 neighbors, that's 300 taps. Try them at a different time of day.

Edit- I forgot to add that you should be thankful for premium neighbours, our towns are the best!
