Thanks. Although I find it mildly galling to compliment EA, this last update really did stabilize my town. In addition, sometime last month I finally did what I said I was never going to do and scaled back my town by stripping out a ton of decorations (mostly shrubs and fences). It's still a fairly complicated town and I'm ever so slowly moving toward my goal of buying all of the property lots.
