i think they are being a little generous because of the huge cost of donut prices for anyone that was not around last year and wants to buy all the old items and the new stuff as well

People have gotten donuts. I have posted a picture of getting donuts randomly and many other people have as well. Be patient. I am sure you will get some.

I know people are getting donuts. Hence the frowny face that I haven't managed to pick up a single one.

No complaints on my end. I've already received 3 donuts from tapping on haunted houses in my town and it's only been two days of Halloween (I didn't start collecting Goo until early Wednesday afternoon). It does seem that they are being a lot generous/increasing the odds for random donuts in comparison to Whacking Day (I think I got 1 from snakes over the 5-week event). That and if the rumors of getting donuts after unlocking Strongman Homer/Make Burns confess are true, then we could start racking in a lot of free dough! 8)

After I send Lisa on her taste to solve mystery,just find burns and tap him...
I had him free, I reckon if he's on task we can miss it...
There wasn't any hint in story line about free donuts.
they just mention old boss who didn't pay- that's it,
