Springfield Heights Monorail design problems EA PLEASE READ!!

Just move like everybody else, I spend 2h moving and it work, Also I made room to place the second tunnel.

So with little effort it worksout fine, thats TSTO, moving area's till 1 thing fitts.
I had to move 3 area's just to Let the 1 factory fitts in my town.
Sometimes I have to think couple days before finding a solution.

People's perceptions on such matters differ, but I don't call two hours work a "little" effort. :wink:

If you could place the mountain bits (tunnels, Homerlays) using the same grid system as the rest of the town there would be no problem.

My Monorail is mainly in the north of my town so I'm not going to place the rail tunnels until I get the rest of SH.

You'll be getting a second tunnel at the end of week 5 as the prize in the rail yard.

Waiting far too long to get my second tunnel to complete my loop. I expect the rest of SH to be opened up for this next phase of the game. Anything else and EA will be lame. To all of the whiners about the 1 grid offset should have expected it with the original tunnel to SH. Doh!

Odd question probably but does anybody know if the tunnels will be made available to buy on their own at a later date? I'm sure we can only speculate at the moment but I was just curious.

It's making my brain hurt trying to redesign the monorail to not only incorporate SH but also not block the view of my current SF and make it fit. However this is probably the most dedicated time I've spent on the game in a good few months so I'm not complaining really. I just wish I could fit the whole thing on my screen so I can see my town in all it's glory!

What I ended up doing is created a separate monorail that is strictly a hub into SH and closed off the spots where the Two stations were that I used in SH monorail!! Unfortunately it is a work in progress! I moved the tunnel to the two different locations that are closer and built out the tracks to the Stations in SP and SH! Now when I get tunnel number 2 all I have to do is place it and done! Even though SH is not looped yet it is pretty cool when the trains pass each other as the tracks for SH and SP pass each other at a point!

After what I read here I was worried, but to my surprise, mine fitted fine so I DON'T want EA™ to do anything drastic.
The easiest way to overcome this would be for them to create a new piece that fits one square and can be bought for in game cash :)
