Springfield Rebuild

What I do is send all my characters on long tasks so they not in the way and I remove all roads and store all decorations that aren't multipliers I also use pavement first as a placeholder before placing roads
  • place everything that generated money or is a multiplier in the bottom right corner and store everything else.
the start building in the top right corner where the mountains meet the water and build out from there
  • 1. Store all meaningless decorations (non-premium AND non-limited time)

    2. Move all buildings to a corner - only store meaningless ones - colored houses, Krusty Burger (except original), Kwik-E-Mart (except original) and Gulp N Blow (only keep original)

    3. Next pick a different but accessible corner and work from there. Move buildings to new locations/areas, place roads/pavement/rivers.

    4. Once all buildings and premium/limited time items are placed, open up that inventory and take out the other stuff.

I find it easiest this way. There used to be issues losing stuff out of the inventory - which is why I say don't store premium/limited time decorations. Premiums will still help your multiplier, so another bonus to leave those out.
  • The most important thing is to get creative do whatever feels right if you need any inspiration the Springfield showcase has some amazing pictures of what others have done
  • I stored just about everything to do a complete rebuild and now my game freezes almost immediately after entering. This is a bloody nightmare.I play several times a day.
I have loads of donuts and every item plus over 12 million dollars.Just fix this broken piece of crap EA!!It is great when it works.I have no issues with my new starter town,so it must be some kind of server issue.Disturbingly this seems to be becoming a common problem. Some of us have spent lots of money on this game so please spare us "but is a freemium game" nonsense!!
