Which device are you using? If it's iOS when you press the home button and the lock button simultaneously you can take a screenshot of whatever is on the screen at the present time, including your town. Then use an image hosting website/app (I use the Photobucket app) to upload your pics.

If you're using Android then I can't help you, sorry.

As for ideas, just let your imagination run wild! You can also check out the 'What did you do with...' threads here on the forum too.
