- its from the episode marge vs the monorail same with the popsicle stick skyscraper and is near the monrail so maybe that and the 50ft magnifying glass will be coming to complete the know gag

It was a throwaway gag at the end of the Monorail episode, saying that the people of Springfield never fell for anything stupid like the Monorail ever again....except for the Huge escalator to nowhere, the skyscraper made of popsicle sticks, and....from memory, there was a huge magnifying glass, too? And it set the skyscraper on fire? They've never been seen in any other episode, though.ThatsLunch wrote:
