Star Management star rating.
Can you increase the star rating of the characters by playing the game, or is it just by donuts? If by playing, how does that work? I can't seem to figure it out.

The more stars they are the more cuffs they earn. I'm also assuming the symbols next to their names show which of the 3 acts they can be used in. Like Lisa will be used in the rock, pop, and rap acts but homer will only be in the rock act. So make sure you level up Lisa and at the least.
