That was so long ago that it’s hard to remember. But I do seem to recall a pretty lengthy downtime where nothing really happened. Not sure of the level, though.- here are my thoughts...
the next update might be a Groundhog thing... Jan.7 to Feb. 5.
Groundhogs are a little bigger than snakes.. and usually dark in colour… so they can be seen on snow...
So, we get to wack them, and gain stuff..
Also send AND collect them in neighbours towns...
OH.. they spawn every 5 minutes... to a maximum of 100.
BUT... they seem to be running after a white rabbit..
This rabbit is special... it gives 100 times the reward and spawns every 20 minutes...
Rabbit leaves invisible tracks, because it's weight is little,
and it's small, and it's white, and it give 100 time the reward..
Maybe a Stephen Hawking thing.. Jan. 8 ...
Then maybe a Space Cayote thing... or Whacking Day part 2... - Here are my thoughts

Well you best go uninstall it then and play something else. :)- No its not lol EA is just taking a week break which is fine.....they have done that before a couple years ago or so.

....The most ideal scenario, riding a nice TRANSITION b/w SEASONS is:
▪️3-6 week mini event/s retaining Winter, as done last year thru at least end of January, or better yet Valentines for next mini event...
▪️Then, next mini event on St Pat's, still within Winter phase for the ideal golden opportunity for a canon super event:

...sweet opportunity here for utilizing new f/x with ❄️snow, ?️sleet, & then ⛈️rain for realistic ?️?seasonal transitions??️

... w/Hurricane & flooding festivities for town clean-up / rebuilding tasks galore, including visiting neiboreenos for help which hasn't been utilized in quite a while?
