Stop Not Defending and Help Your Neighbors by Visiting KL

Thanks for testing and posting, that info is really useful. So a visit to KL with a burning town works to almost everybody's advantage. It saves the owner clearing up, it resets the town for fresh onslaughts, the attackers win too, plus those of us on lower end devices can have better response times without all the smoke and destruction animations.

The only downside being the owner gets no elixir or gold for rebuilding demolished property. Presumably a bit of a hit for those with large house farms?

You may not like KL (it is kinda boring, I agree), but remember one thing: Keep clearing Sideshow You and you'll eventually get free donuts. :) I know, not a lot, but some is better than none, right?

I've only been playing a little over six months and I've already won donuts from KL twice, just by visiting twice daily.
  • Wow, thanks for figuring this out Pinpal00! I've stopped defending since I won the Barbarian Homer statue a few days ago, and I figured I'd help others get there instead of racking up whatever I can. But I had stopped visiting KL because I had heard of this glitch -- nice to know I can go back and play Sideshow You! I've won about 20-25 donuts there so far! :)
  • Just visited tried this and upon returning from Krustyland, all the shields in my town were cleared. Hope the attackers got full credit to help them finish the event.
  • You know what? I've stopped going to Krustyland again.

Even though I'm not defending my Springfield for the most part, I realized that I wasn't getting any more Cheaters when I don't get to rebuild the wrecked houses destroyed by nerds, so now I'm waiting until they're destroyed and then tapping to rebuild. I've got 11 cheaters saved up already! \o/
  • I have not been to Krustyland since this event started.

I don't care what the defenses of my neighbors are, 9 hours 24 hours, I expect you to defend so I visit to help you, not me. I alternate between my neighbors and randoms, today is a neighbor day. When visiting randoms, then I specifically seek out only those that fit the timeline I am looking for, usually 12 hours or less, and then I don't play until that set time is up to maximize my earnings.

I don't defend my town unless I have to. I will defend castles to get nerds, and any building that has a character doing a job in. Or because the hit detection is screwed up, I may accidentally defend when I mean to tap an adjacent building, (and clearly tapped the building I wanted to tap :hunf: ) .
