Try to concentrate on a single quest line at a time, and ignore your rapidly filling task book! It takes patience and willpower, but the game will last longer until it plateaus with nothing to do that way, and you will also have more time to save up the cash for the next building.
SP can be done in parallel with SF, if you buy just a second sea expansion for now you will have enough room to squeeze everything in, you can come back and re-organize it later when you can afford more sea tiles. And as someone said, keep stocking up the SP tiles even if you don't have room for them.
KL can be a slow backburner, but it can be played independently. There will be some times when a character is needed in KL and SF but usually in KL it's for a single 'ride-the-ride-you-just-built' quest so it's very manageable.
