SunSphere Is It Worth It?

Absolutely:

It is the least expensive of all the aspirationals.
Bart, Milhouse, Martin, and Nelson get a sweet new task.
It is easier to design than the other aspirationals.
It looks great in your town.

I've got at least 24hrs yet before I have to make the decision. I'm likely to put it on the outskirts somewhere, but it's going to mean I have to remodel my town as well. It was bad enough after putting the Springfield sign in lol :)

Definitely worth it. And at some point, the aspirationals are all you really have to work for except premium items!

I think it's worth it. It adds something different to your town without looking way over the top like the staircase to nowhere, Popsicle stick tower, and the giant magnifying glass. Those are just lame in my opinion. And since there is such limited space the sun sphere won't eat up a lot of your precious space either! :)
