Well, maybe they can tie it to WonderCon instead. That's the first weekend of April. Isn't that the superhero one? Or am I mixed up?

It doesn't need to tie in with a specific event, it's Springfield so they could hold theirs whenever it fits...
Stan Lee as a character might be pushing it since he is a living person and while he is one of the gods of comics they could do more with just Radioactive Man, Fallout Boy, and skins of Bart/Lisa/CBG/Burns/Homer etc.
