Thanks largely to timing, people had 2000 before I got started. No chane of completeing the event.
Only on 1200 now.

Just went over 10,000 on my lodge-tapping neighbor rounds :) The next prize is 4000 away, so that'll take a couple days, but I think I'm on a really good pace. If I keep averaging 2000 per day, I'll easily finish the event.

Just over 10,000. This is a great event. Lots to do; everything is doable in the time available.

I think we've been going at a similar pace, judging by the posts you've made on this thread. You're a little bit ahead of me. I'm at 9953 as of this second. Almost to Willie and Skinner. I think we're making good progress. I like being a bit ahead of the minimum daily amount (according to the chart stickied to Game Discussion page) just in case something comes up and I can't tap for a little while. It gives me a little leeway. I love this event. Obtaining all prizes is very likely as long as you keep tapping. :)

Have one neighbor only had trappable item once a week, then 4 days into the event went from nothing to 35,000 even had the devil's anvil. Still has nothing trappable.

I started 2 days late due to lack of internet and no cell phone coverage where we live.

I am having such a blast with this event. I love logging in, clearing pyramids, tapping on robed dudes and learning who is a saint or dimwit or whatever. This update is so much more fun than Easter was. I really look forward to playing multiple times per day!

Looking at everyone's totals, I think I may have a reasonable chance to catch up if I keep playing regularly. Even if I don't catch up, it is still a blast. I don't feel like it is rigged so you have to spend lots of money to finish. I will invest in donuts if I am close at the end.
