tail gate upgrade not working?

I seem to be experiencing this as well. Don't know if I'm missing something or what.

Mine upgraded fine that i got on black friday. Try storing it and bringing it back out.

thanks for making me feel less clueless. :) TBH I rather just store that thing. I didn't like it in my main town and don't need it in my crawl town, I was digging through the cereal box for a better prize. :D

@Coldshot101 where are you stuck? I'm stuck on part 4, the upgrade before Homer's task/animation

Some players have had problems with upgrading, for others it works fine. I found this thread from about a year ago:

What a downer. I quite like the tailgate and luckily it has upgraded fine for me.
