The Duff Blimp and Party Bus aren't in the store until Act 3, so I have no idea if I should save the donuts for then, or buy something that's in the store now.
I don't think either of them had bonuses, but they could have changed that with the event. They did for the Oscar's Obstacles truck (which was also once a freebie).
I don't know what to suggest then I'm afraid my friend, beyond PMing LP about it, or looking on tsto addicts, as either one of them would be the most likely to have your answers. Do you know if the things you might want instead of the Duff Blimp and Party Bus, that are currently available, will still be available until Act III? If they are, that makes things much easier, you can just wait anyway!
