Tax day update?

It is highly unlikely that they will do anything for Tax Day. Easter is pretty much a world wide thing and they did nothing, Tax Day is just the US so the chances are slim.

All that being said, I think it would be awesome if for just that day all the buildings that pay taxes had an increase in their rates. Also, if the characters all had a task in the post office where they had to mail their returns. Wiggums could have a task of directing the traffic and Fat Tony and the others who are crooked could be there to get their kickbacks.

I agree with this point, but Thanksgiving is American and the celebrated that. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why they skipped Easter. Some might suggest the religious point but They did Christmas so I don't know how valid that point is, and they don't need to focus on the religious part of the holiday anyway.

Anyway, it would be fun, I'm not American and I'll take any American themed update, I just want to for my town. I am Christian but I wouldn't be offended by a Hindu holiday for Apu, maybe his wife could pe a limited time character or something.

Basically, I don't care the reason I welcome any update!

I've struck Thanksgiving from my memory, evidently. Didn't we just get the balloons during that time? So in my mind, they kind of didn't do anything for that holiday.

We have a temple, we have Apu praying to his divine being, so why not add a Hindu holiday? I would love to see that and like you said.....bring on the update!

I will take any items they give us, lol.

I would have loved to see Ralph looking for eggs. Bart and the other bad kids could have egged houses while Lisa lectured everybody on the true meaning of the holiday. I mean, she lectured Lovejoy (sort of) to get the temple so why not?

I'm not sure that the lack of an Easter update had anything to do with religion. I think it's because they have their hands full with the android release and the next update.

Can't help but think because its religious they evaded Easter... but then again, they have the Church and had Christmas by its name rather than 'Holiday'....

Did anybody stop to think maybe they didn't do Easter because they were use putting together this Whacking Day update? If the files people have scanned are correct there's a LOT coming.

I think they choose the more social holidays for big updates. Well, it's a social game.

For Thanksgiving, the update was based on the Parade, and for Christmas the upade was based on shoping. For both the Thanksgiving day parade and shoping on Christmas people of all religions follow those.

Every simpsons series has a christmas and halloween episode but they dont have much easter episodes, so if EA has no mateial to work on their not going to produce an update. Are they?
