That Moment When Someone Copies What You Did

I post a lot of my designs on the showcase on here and I've seen a lot of people use them and It makes me happy enough to know that something I made is being used elsewhere.

Don't believe I've had that happen to me. On the other hand, I might remix a design I've seen into my SF. But not copied.

I've seen some wonderful Krustyland layouts that I wanted to copy but never got around to it. I would feel honored if somebody copied anything I had.

I copied my "Other Springfield"'s idea of Springfield Heights. Not all of it, just the beach tho. :D

I'm always honored whenever anyone copies or tries to replicate anything I've made. I feel very flattered that someone liked what I made enough to take the time needed to accomplish that. It's not easy to mimic another's work, so someone will have to be dedicated to try it. Someone was kind enough to largely copy an enormous go kart track I have, and he improved it and fixed some issues with symmetry I had when creating it.

OP, I'm sure your neighbor has just as much splendor as you do.

I'm with @barryriddl474 I've seen a lot of sections in part and in whole copied from my SF and I always feel honoured!
It takes me a long time to come up with my layouts and some of the ideas have come from others I have seen as well.
I've never seen anyone copy it 100% though, I think I would just see that as a bit lazy. Those of us that take design seriously always seem to improve on the ideas, even when I'm improving on their improvement of my idea :)
