The End of Tapped Out
It'll come in waves. First the updates will stop then the servers will be shut down. Hopefully they will allow us to continue to play in some sort of stand-alone mode.

Surely with any game like this, it is the individuals decision as to whether or not to use their own money to buy additional items in game? From the off, games like this will ultimately have a shelf life, so again it is the individuals personal choice whether they spend money on something which ultimately won't last forever.
I don't understand why so many of these threads are popping up-yes I would be gutted if this game ended one day, but whilst it's still going strong, I'm going to make the most of it.
