Try to clean your phone. A nice long soak in hot soapy water should do the trick.

i tried this and it worked great. If you are having an issue getting some of the water out just put your phone in the microwave for 5 minutes

Use a hammer. Always speeds things along for me. The bigger the better.

Why couldn't they have given us a new building, or decoration, or a new character or npc?

Something is better than nothing.

I am thinking that they are giving everyone the Summer Mansion to prepare for what is to come AFTER Sunday.

Do what I did. I nuked my town and just pulled out the cooling towers -for Burns- and the summer mansion. I put them right next to each other, it makes the grind so much easier.
