Another option, just buy land as you need it and continue to bank more KL tickets. I've built everything in KL and have only purchased about half the land available. I now have all available character...

I didn't speed up any tasks, nor did I buy many excess tickets (only 2 Laffy Meals). Bart finished Riding it this morning. I do have the Eyeballs of Death and Mt Krustmore though. But I also took 10 days off from playing the game while on vacation.
