The math behind Corn

I am patiently waiting for my corn to grow. In the meantime, I am using my feeder towns to collect my Arnie Pie at Channel Six. It's a nice way to make some quick money.

  • I think you would hate life if you accidentally tapped that corn one time too many. That would be an extremely costly mistake.

I'm never short of ingame cash and, while getting 45k cash for tap is awesome, it just isn't worth spending donuts on, IMO.

Indeed. The missing part of the math is that you don't need to spend donuts to get game cash; in fact, that's a terrible use of them. Use those donuts to get premium characters with high payouts and premium decorations that increase your modifier. That way you'll have more neat stuff and a lot of money to buy whatever you need. Trading donuts for corn only nets you game cash, which is easy to get without spending real-life money.

But it's your money; do as you will.

  • Don't do it. You can always get in game cash. Why waste money just to get some in game cash quicker?

If you have the donuts use it on actual premium content. But it is your money so do what you want.
  • 88 days 11 hours to go on my corn. Marge the witch is gonna be working overtime for the next couple months.
  • My Artie Pye nets me S182k a day just from my feeder towns, plus I've got neighbor taps and a nice sized blue house farm. Why burn real money for in-game cash?!? A little bit of grinding a day goes a long way.
  • Bit the bullet and rushed the corn. Some think it is not worth it, but I just made more game cash in 5 minutes then I would make in a week worth of grinding. I need to scale back my time in the game, but want enough money to buy all the land and other expensive buildings and decorations. I am level 37 with all the quest line buildings now, but I probably only have half the land, so this will speed it up.

Anyways, something I should have done before I got the corn, was to move Cletus' farm right under the landing zone for my town so I get more taps. I get a lot of visitors skip over the SP tile, Channel 6 and the farm and instead tap the Simpson house, brown house etc.. Can you safely move Cletus' farm with the corn and a few handshakes on it, without messing it up? not something I want to test, could be an expensive ,mistake!

Yes. When you go to the "Moving" mode your handshakes will not be visible. After you place your farm and go back to game mode, your handshakes will be waiting for you.
