I am not yet that near to the 10k total, but I can see how you could be. As pretty much everyone has said its down to visiting neighbours regularly. Probably forum regulars do make good neighbours, as long as they are good forum members ;). But there are also plenty of decent lurkers out there too who will visit you regularly. Dont forget tardy neighbours too, if its obvious they dont tap much drop a few gremlins in their town, you might get 4 goo for each one. Got room for about 30 neighbours more myself and think I would be at 10k now if I had filled the slots (might have also gone insane from all the tapping too though).

I'm actually super donut-poor, so I needed to get help on this. Now that I have a list full of active friends, I can earn close to 1000 goo in a day if I'm on a lot to tap ghosts and gremlins and haunted buildings and stuff, plus visiting everyone and dropping all the gremlins I can. I totally see how people who started the event with full friends could be close to 10000 goo by now. I'll earn less when I'm in classes all day, of course, but I fully expect to have all prizes by next week.

I'm at 8856 without having sped up a single thing and avoiding double hauntings. I used the boards to get back up to 100 friends and I tap away when I have the free time. It really wasn't that hard. Some of you kids need to calm down with your angry cries of "CHEATER!!" just because other folks play the game differently than you.

Exactly how I've done it. I don't see why you think it's cheaters because I have got over 9000 GOO without speeding up so its pretty possible.

+1, I have about 7000 goo without speeding anything up by visiting and having good neighbors it is possible.

Oh, and to the author of the thread.... look up the word "cheating" in the dictionary....... playing exactly by the rules but putting extra time andeffort in doesnt really fit!!!! Its a bit like you racing against Bolt in a 200m sprint, and when you eventually get to the finish line, accusing him of cheating because he trained for years :roll:
