I'm in the same position, bought iTunes credit yesterday to pig out on donuts and all this talk of Gill has thrown me for a loop! Do you have to reach a specific point in the Christmas quests? I'm level 24 with 11 houses decorated but hven't moved on to the Mapple store yet.
