The Ugliest Springfield

I live in the Northeastern portion of the US, and our lawns stays green, at least until they are covered with snow.

where do you live? Why would there be dirt in the autumn? The grass doesnt just die and get replaced with dirt in the fall.

Definitely not dead, but the grass goes dormant and turns brown/yellow this time of year......

Not where I'm at, it's turning brown because we are asked to conserve water.

I however, replaced my lawn with fake stuff last year, so I have the best looking grass in the neighborhood! :twisted:

Edit: I like the brown grass, I do know that a lot of places do actually have seasons and dormant grass! :mrgreen:

I'm in the midwest and my grass is greener now than it was all Summer due to a lot more rain in Autumn.

I would still take some new landscaping options in TSTO though.

Confused me too! Where I live the grass is green all year long (more so on the other side) however I still think a different type of ground cover would be nice. It does look spookier too
