- A few weeks... Seriously?
Out of boredom, I have been designing an old town which I took over from my kid who quit playing. Looks like I'll have plenty of time for that now. Pull_Up_A_Chair wrote:

Apparently EA needs to work out the kinks regarding the account switching glitch. They do not want to be liable (or be forced to refund money) for any lost premium content purchased by the many tappers who have been affected by the glitch. The premium content could be sold if someone who is inadvertently logged into the premium players' Springfield decides to sell the premium content (or spend all donuts/in-game money which has been purchased via donuts). As such, EA feels it's important to first patch that glitch to avoid a class action or a large-scale refund.
Sorry for the disappointing news, everyone. But don't worry, the update is just a few weeks away! Stay tuned.
How does the update being suspended, have any impact on the ability for someone else to sell off another person's premium content? If they do the update, the selling off would still happen and if they don't it still would. This impending update is not exactly going to be that hard on the developers as all the hard work is done, they've just got to flick the switch so to speak. If anything doing the update might give them more time to sort out the wrong town issues, as you won't get everyone else complaining that nothing is going on with the game.
I think ill wait and see before I trust your source...JoshSherer wrote:

Until I see it from spAnser I won't believe it.- Account switch is just an excuse for EA's laziness.

This Johnsheer guy is just compensating for certain parts. Or, lack thereof, as the case may be.
Also, I hope your kids never learn to use their thumbs, should the world be so blessed.
