Hi guys and gals,I am a bit of a returning customer, i played back in the whacking day era.I have a couple of questions about the game now i am back. 1. Is the vault just somewhere for discount items? Or are they discontinued or unavailable anymore? How often do they rotate and do they come round again? 2. The limited mystery boxes, are they just a chance to get items from previous events? And is it just the premium stuff or everything?Thanks all

The Vault rotates once a week on wedsnday and it is nothing but what was once removed items at a discounted price. The link below has a list of everything in the vault and on page 12 not sure how far down the lists are an accurate as to when it will show up providing you don't already own an unique item in the vault.https://forums.ea.com/en/the-simpsons-tapped-out/discussion/102247/the-vault-complete-list-thanks-to-tstoaddicts/p12As for mystery boxes 99% of the time they are returning event items (can be both premium and freemium items in them) at a discount but random what you pull and how many items are in it is based on how many of the older items that are in it you already own. Only exception so far is the krustyland box which has 1 returning item from an old event the rest of the items in it were part of the old krustyland store prior to it's nuking.

Does anyone have a theory as to how much longer the vault will stick around? We're closing in on a year...

The Vault will be around pretty much forever....what we don't know if EA will update the vault to add more stuff in it (as in characters, character/building combo, buildings, and decorations) a long with what we already have. EA will probably be too lazy to do that. I think the vault is like a starter feature for new players and players that haven't played the game much.

great thanks for that, so the yellow ‘unique’ items are items that have been discontinued and are now only available in the vault? Is that correct?

Could be used whenever the plug is pulled... GOD FORBID!

I dunno what that table is supposed to be but it's not a guarantee of what will show up in the vault.
