I'm pretty sure I've never seen more than 5 Presents in my town at once.
On my second pass I turned off
everything and slowly searched the entire town looking for those little hopping cubes. Nothing. Meanwhile other people have dropped Presents into the town that I couldn't drop any in. I couldn't drop any into it yesterday either, but plenty of other people did.
Possibilities:
A given player can only drop x number of Presents into a town.
A given player can only drop x number of Presents into a town within a time limit.
A given town can only accept x number of Presents within a time limit.
Oh, and it looks like the Scoreboard in the menu only shows the last 20 dropped. I wish it showed a time to go with it.
With only 5 Presents a day it's hard to experiment and figure out exactly what's going on.
