This is a good event. Why all the hate?
I've been seeing I lot of unwarranted hate for this event and it just started a couple of days ago. Now I'll admit I miss the lack of trick and treating, the green rivers and the cartable items stink...

I think like the winter event last year, people may have had a different reaction if this wasn't the THOH event. There is an expectation of what THOH and winter events are going to be like and when they don't fit that expectation people are upset. If this event would have happened in March, people may have a different impression. I like the event, but I would agree that it isn't a THOH event just like last year's winter event wasn't a Christmas event.
