By 'hard close' he meant 'force close'. To force close an app on iPad (iPhone, etc):
Double tap the Home button. Swipe away the app.
And sometimes I also have to restart my iPad. And twice today I had to reset my network to get the game to play. (In the middle of doing my Friend Actions of course...)
I don't have an Ipad and not familiar with them. Is there an equivalent on them for clearing the app's cache as one can do under Android? I'm curious because a force close is sometimes not enough on Android.
