I was worried about how few Martinis I was getting from tapping gamblers, given that the Safari Casino requires 80 Martinis. I've reached Level 3 of Crafting. I have a Nero's Fountain, the Dupes sign and now 67 Martinis towards the 80.
My "strategy" was to play to lose at Cletus' Dice Den. I lost a lot! I have 300 purple tickets to prove it. These will convert into 3000 chips so I don't think that's so bad. I also won a lot with all those 400 chip payouts so got some donuts too. I only have 50 tokens left but should have another 50 by the start of Act Three.
With an added crafting currency in Act Three I think the chance of getting Martinis will be slightly less? Who knows.
